This 9-inch Chalet-style One Day cuckoo clock features a hand-carved chimney sweeper that pops in and out of the chimney every hour. The clock also features hand-painted flowers and a wooden dial with Roman numerals. Two cast iron pine cone weights power the mechanical 30-hour movement, which is wound daily. On the hour, the cuckoo bird emerges to announce the time, while the chimney sweeper rises and falls in sync with the cuckoo call. The hand-carved maple leaf pendulum helps regulate the clock’s timing. Made in Germany by skilled artisans, each clock is uniquely crafted, with slight variations that add to its charm.
