This 10-inch chalet-style cuckoo clock features a Volksmarcher (fitness walker) striding past a traditional German cottage. The detailed scene includes green wooden shutters on the cottage, a Black Forest tree, a bench, and even a lamb. On the hour, the cuckoo bird emerges and announces the time, cuckooing once for each hour. The clock is powered by a 30-hour all-brass mechanical Regula movement, which is wound daily using two pine cone weights. A manual night shutoff allows you to mute the cuckoo call. Handcrafted in Germany, each clock is unique, with variations in carving and coloration that add to its charm.
